Vans Custom Shoes Giveaway – Win Free Back to School Shoes

Top toys for Kids is pleased to announce our first contest!

Win a free pair of back to school shoes for your child!  All you have to do is check out the custom shoes on the Vans website, pick the style and colors with your child, and then post back here about your experience.  We will select the winner on 7/27/2009. That’s plenty of time to receive your free shoes for back to school!

Vans is the original skate shoe manufacturer since 1966! Today there are three styles of custom shoes to choose from with hundreds of color patterns. A custom shoe can be purchased for $50, $60, or $70 based on the style you select. We think that’s a great value for a custom shoe! The kids will have fun selecting the style, patterns, and color and will look forward to wearing them for back to school!

Why is Vans giving away shoes? They want you to take a look at their site and consider ordering online for all your skate shoe and back to school shoe needs.

To get started now, just follow the banner to Van’s, create your shoes (you can save your creation for later purchase if you should win), and come back and post about it.

“OMG”! That idea is very cool! I love the fact that the colors and patterns are able to be viewed by rolling the curser over them rather than clicking and waiting for your choice to download on to the shoe. The selection of colors and designs are great also, though I would have like to see more choices geared towards girls – And they did not have girls sizes! My daughters love Vans, but luckily they fit in a womans size 5! Overall great idea, fun to do abnd I think these will be a hit!

Wow, what an awesome experience. So, when I saw this contest I immediately called my ten year old son over to the computer. He spent at least 30 minutes creating his own design of shoes and said things like “aw, sweet” and “ooh, wow” to options like choosing the design of the tongue on the sneaker. He had such a fun time and I had an equally fun time watching him! What makes this even more special is that he will enter his first year of middle school(big, huge deal) in the fall and what better way to walk into school in style than in his own custom Van’s!! Thanks for this opportunity! Fingers are crossed over here!!!

I’m constantly amazed by my 12 year old daughter who has always been ahead of everyone else when it comes to the latest/hottest styles/trends. When she was a toddler she would point out in catalogs, toys that she wanted for the holidays that we, as her parents had never heard of nor seen before. We quickly learned that if we didn’t purchase them by August/September that they would be sold out because she had selected the hottest toys for the holidays. So as I started this annual process in July, I came across this site for coustom Vans…well belive it or not, just a few weeks ago we were all talking about back-to-school shoes and my daughter picked out a pair of Vans that she wanted. I called her in to design her own pair and within a couple minutes she had designed the coolest looking pair of Era’s I have ever seen. Let’s hope she wins because I’m afraid they will be sold out when i go to purchase them in September!

Hi my name is Margo Frizell and my son Tyler he’s 12 years old. Really like all the trends and styles of the shoes. The shoes I really like is the ERA’s. I like how they have the 80’s type with all the colors. Tyler always wanted some vans shoes but i never had enough money to get them. This would be a good chance for him to get his second pair of shoes. This would be a good birtyday present for him to his birtday is on july 28th… I hope he win…

What an awesome site! I designed a shoe for my 4 year old daughter. I was so happy to see that they have her shoe size 10 1/2. She is starting preschool in a couple of weeks, so it would be great if she won these! First I chose the slip on shoe in white. Then I made the front and the heel of the shoe a light pink color. Then, for the middle part of the shoe I picked the light lavender color. For everything else (the trim, inside the shoe, rubber sole, etc) I made white. The end result was a super cute and girly shoe that I know my daughter would be proud to wear to her first year of preschool!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to win a pair of Van shoes. Thanks, to this blog i was able to see what Vans was all about. I have seen them before, just never knew what they were called. My little cousin happens to love them, he’s an aspiring skateboarder and he’s only 8! These shoes would really make him happy=)
