Toys with the Christmas Spirit!

We get so caught up in finding the perfect toys for our kids and gifts for family that sometimes we forget to emphasize the meaning of the season.  What better way to talk about Jesus and Christmas than through religious games, nativity sets, and dolls. We have found some great products that the kids will really have fun with.

The Bible Game is a trivia game on DVD. It is designed for ages 12 and up. We asked Jennifer, age 14, what she thought about it and here’s what she said:

“I played the bible game with my best friend vanessa. We have such a great time, we were like jumping everywhere because we were so excited. Although the game was a little slow and took a long time to load it was worth waiting. We were clueless about the saints section though because usually only Catholics know all the saints, and we are not Catholic, so that was a bit confusing. The graphics were really good though, and once the screen loaded it was easy to use the remote and pick the catagory we wanted.” Find the Bible Game here.

We have found some wonderful nativity sets for kids. The Playmobil set is great for hands on play along with a great wooden set from Germany.
